Saturday snuck up on me way too quickly! The clouds didn't deter anyone so you could feel the energy all over the place. I spent most of my day running between the main stage (thanks for ghosting me AKA) and the artist bar (thanks Aewon Wolf and Stilo Magolide for dropping bars) so I racked up a couple steps. I got to hang with Eats Everything, Foster The People, Beardyman, Matador and Rudimental... Not such a bad day! I saw someone say that nobody felt any bass until the Sibot x Toyota performance and I tend to agree. Da L.E.S. is a pretty rad dude as well. I reckon the most memorable thing about his set was when he lit up, puffed and passed a joint into the crowd much to the chagrin of the security.
Saturday pretty much bled into Sunday so I'm not even sure where it started but I know that I dragged myself out of my tent when a couple stumbled into mine. I managed to get myself back to Jack Rabbit mobile kitchen with a cup of coffee and grab a burger before heading back to the beach bar for one last hurrah. It was a weird day because there's an undeniable sense of limbo. People don't want to leave but they've totally surpassed their threshold and the colour is running out of them into the sand... Still retaining that sense of wonder that IS Rocking The Daisies somehow; people walk around looking like it's their first day.
